I got a figure wrong. The estimated revenue loss over the next 5 years from SEZs is put at a staggering Rs 170000 Cr by NIPF.
Now if anyone gets an impression that I’m against SEZs, you’re wrong. I’m all for SEZs. Just that we need to go a little slower and soothe the frayed nerves.
